This blog is owned by Kris Gannon and Susan Rumsey Dichter, two friends who share the common bond of having three sons and a love for discovering the great outdoors. We carry our cameras with us always, forever attempting to get that perfect picture - one that captures in one succint moment all the love, passion and beauty of this Great Earth.
Our travels always include talking of our boys, their trials and tribulations. Sometimes they are with us, other times it is just the two of us. The years are bringing each of them closer to adulthood, with two off to college and four more close behind.
Kayaking and hiking at White Memorial is our time to soothe the soul, to bond with each other, to validate our roles as mothers and as stewards of the Earth.
